Children’s book author and illustrator James Ransome visited Capitol Elementary on Thursday, November 29^th , to talk about reading, writing, illustrating and history.  He spoke to 4^th graders about the work of an illustrator, presented a slide show, and drew during the presentation.  As a special treat, he attended our Honor Roll Luncheon with our principal, Ms. Collins, and Cathy Seal, Library Supervisor.
